Passion
for good win
“Sengiari” is in the Tramonte area of the Euganean Hills, a geographical position which is already a clear sign of the highest standard in viniculture. Tramonte means “between the three mountains”, namely, Boscalbò, Lonzina and Sengiari.
The Sengiari company is situated on top of the third hill, from which it gets its name, an ideal “habitat” for cultivating wine.
The Dainese family, who have been producing wine for four generations, run the company and dedicate time, passion and attentive care to the production of typical wines from the Euganean Hills.
The vines extend in a fan shape on the slope of Sengiari Hill and, due to exposure on the south-east and south-west, produce grapes that become completely ripe.
The wine is cultivated manually, including the harvest produced cyclically by the Dainese family, depending upon when different grape varieties become ripe. This focus on traditional methods leads to the production of highly prestigious wines.
The form of wine cultivation and the type of arch used to grow the vines are chosen in order to produce selected grapes which will exalt the wine, a product of the love between man and nature, to the highest possible level, characterized by a brilliant colour and a notable body which in time becomes even more persistent.
